THAT'S SO WEIRD

This was a sketch comedy series for kids, on YTV in Canada. When I was a kid, one of my favourite shows was Do Not Adjust Your Set, by several of the team who would go on to make Monty Python. It was kids TV, but funny for adults too. That was our goal with this series too. We didn't always get there, but we were constantly trying to get more sophisticated jokes into the show.

We ended up getting a few award nominations for this series, and won a Canadian Comedy Award for best ensemble show.

This was great fun to work on. Gary Pearson was showrunner, and he would begin every day with games like "Guess What's On Gary's T-Shirt."
